In the Bloukrans River canyon, a region of remarkable scenic beauty that divides Eastern and Western Cape provinces, is located the highest bridge bungy jump on the planet. Bloukrans Bungy has been operated by Face Adrenalin since 1997: the New Zealand owners are world authorities in bungy jump, offering the best and safest experience for those who want to jump from a bridge at 216 meters high. The minimum age is 14 years old, but from 6 it is already possible to take the bridge tour.

After the jump, which can be duly documented on video, the region also offers milder options, such as Nature's Valley beach and Monkeyland (primates) and Birds of Eden (birds) sanctuaries, especially suitable for families with children. The unmissable Tsitsikamma National Park is also nearby, as are the attractions of Plettenberg Bay.
