Jeffreys Bay is a legend among surfers and receives annually one of the stages of the professional surfing circuit, the WSL (World Surf League). Supertubes is considered the best right on the planet and the famous bay also allows beginners to get started in the sport, at points like Main Beach or Kitchen Windows. For those who already have some experience, Magnatubes, Albatross and Boneyards are unmissable breaks.
But Jeffreys Bay doesn't appeal only to surfers. The famous factory shops (clothes in general, not just surf articles) in the charming village, the seafood restaurants and the dolphins always around explain the attraction of all visitors to this world surfing mecca. You can also visit other beaches in the region, such as Cape St. Francis, St. Francis Bay, Paradise Beach and Aston Bay - all less than an hour from Port Elizabeth.
