On one side of the border, in Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls. On the other side, in Zambia, Livingstone. The two countries share one of the most spectacular waterfalls on the planet, known in the Tonga language as Mosi-oa-Tunya, "the smoke that thunders". National parks on both sides of the border protect not only the waterfall region, but also the rich and diverse ecosystem that stretches along the Zambezi River basin.
Vic Falls and Livingstone also stand out as a center for extreme sports: bungy jump, rafting on the Zambezi River, abseiling or diving with crocodiles. You can also appreciate the beauty of the falls in an ultralight, helicopter or sailing the Zambezi on high speed boats. The region can also be the starting point for an incredible safari in Namibia or Botswana, exploring Chobe National Park or the Okavango Delta.
