Robberg Peninsula is not just a nature reserve that protects the region's terrestrial and marine fauna. Due to evidence of human occupation on the site since prehistory, Robberg has national monument and world heritage status. A real gem of the Garden Route and one of its main attractions, located 8 km south of Plettenberg Bay.
Three options of trails, with distances that vary between 2 and 9 km, allow incredible hiking routes for all levels and lead to desert and astonishing beaches. Along the way, watch out for the colony of seals, dolphins or whales, which are present in the region from June to November. The descent of the dunes towards the beach and the island allows one of the most iconic views of the South African coast.
