Amboseli National Park is the second most popular in Kenya. Of the Big 5, it is unusual to find rhinos, but there are numerous herds of elephants. Its biggest differential, however, is the imposing and majestic Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. Located near the border with Tanzania, the park is strongly influenced by the Masai culture of the region and allows authentic interaction with the locals and their traditions.
Five different habitats can be explored in the park, which varies between dry periods and rainy seasons, although the water balance is guaranteed by a huge underground reserve that has its source in the snowy peaks of Kilimanjaro. The rainy months of March and April, and to a lesser extent November and December, do not favor the observation of animals in Amboseli.
