FAQ

Safari

All private game reserves include two daily safari drives (with an average duration of three hours and guiding of rangers and / or trackers, always in English) and three meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Check-in time is always after noon (flights to safari areas arrive around this time). Lunch is served after check-in and then you are introduced to the activities and general information of your stay at the reserve. The first safari drive starts late afternoon, between 4-5 p.m. (depends on the season), and after sunset you experience the night safari. Dinner is usually served in a South African-style boma just after the safari drive. Next day, the morning safari starts early in the morning (between 5 and 6 a.m.), when the animals are most active. Before the safari there is a quick coffee with cookies, but breakfast is served after the drive. Some game reserves offer walk safaris and optional tours. On check-out day, rooms must be vacant by 10 am.
